Hello and welcome to my website! 

I am a plasma physicist with a PhD in fusion energy from Imperial College London.  As well as continuing my involvement in physics, I am using my degree and experience to promote a better understanding of science through public lectures, science festivals, podcasting and television.

This year I am also working with Newland Expeditions on a Fire, Ice and Northern Lights trip to Iceland in September 2012.  Registration is open now.  See my lectures page.
